We have an immediate opening for 1-2 Freelance Senior ETL Consultants to join our Madrid, Spain team to work with one of our important customers in Madrid until at least end of 2018 (may be extended).

The role is perfect for someone with 4+ years’ experience working specifically with SAP Data Services, SQL, PLSQL, Transact-SQL.

Job Responsibilities:

• Engage with the internal customers to define solutions, based on their requirements
  
• Design, develop and coordinate the ETL aspects of the Customer project using SAP Data Services, SQL, PLSQL, Transact-SQL
  
• Build the solution, carry out the necessary tests and provide documentation
  
• Participate in project coordination activities; deliver the solution on time, within budget and according to the specifications; and be responsible for problem resolutions, risk management and project success
  

Education & Experience:

·       University Level Degree (preferred in Engineering or IT) or Masters in Information Technology

·       Advanced knowledge and experience using SAP Data Services and Microsoft SSIS

·       High level of SQL, PLSQL, Transact-SQL knowledge and experience

·       Advanced knowledge and experience designing data models

·       Expertise in Databases such as Oracle, Teradata, MS SQL, etc.

·       Experience with SAP BusinessObjects Information Design Tool and Universe Design Tool

·       4-6 years of experience designing and delivering back-end BI solutions for customers within a matrix BI consultancy environment.

·       Ability to work independently (and occasionally alone in a customer environment) while proactively updating Project Manager on status, challenges and milestones

·       Excellent communicator and very transparent

·       Fluent Spanish, both written and spoken

·       Advanced English, both written and spoken

·       Customer facing profile with excellent communication & presentation skills

·       Autonomous thinking and proactive approach to investigating and discovering solutions

·       Understanding of best practice project management methodology is desirable

·       Ability and experience to manage a low to medium complexity BI project independently would be an asset

Location/Availability:

·       Availability for full-time freelance contract and legally entitled to work in Spain/EU

·       Ability to start in July or early August 2018
